Call for Club Football Watching Venues

Club President, Victor Hazlewood ’88, is asking the club membership to give suggestions for Football Watching Venues by members throughout East Tennessee.   The 2022 Texas A&M Football schedule is listed here.  Send email to uxvictor@gmail.com for suggestions of venues for club football watching.  Will coordinate Football Watching Parties with Aggies across East Tennessee and if scheduled enough in advance the Club President will attend some outside the Knoxville area to get to know the Ags that are Club Members!

Congrats to Texas A&M Baseball

Texas A&M baseball ended on a high note and finished the 2022 baseball season ranked #3 with a record of 44-20 (19-11 SEC).  Texas A&M beat Notre Dame who had eliminated #1 ranked Tennessee in the Super Regionals.  Congrats to the Texas A&M Baseball team!

New Club President – Victor Hazlewood ’88

On June 27, 2022 the Association of Former Students recognized the new East Tennessee A&M Club President, Victor Hazlewood ’88.   Victor, Keith, Steve and the Club membership gives a warm “thank you” to Dennis Stanczuk for his years of service to the Club as the former Club President.

Aggie Muster 2022

After a hiatus due to COVID, Aggie Muster 2022 was held on April 21, 2022 at Calhouns in Knoxville.  Muster guest speaker was John Adams ’73 author, Softly Call the Muster

UT Knoxville vs. Texas A&M Men’s Basketball Game 1/13/18

We had a great time despite an Aggie loss! Hope to see you at the next event!

 

The Aggies are heading to Knoxville on January 13th for some exciting Men’s Basketball SEC competition at Thompson-Boling Arena. UT Knoxville is willing to hold a block of tickets for us and assist in setting up a pre-game tailgate. More details about the tailgate are forthcoming in December

Ticket costs are as follows:

Upper level (300 level tickets) – $7 per seat (plus order charge)
Lower Level (100 level tickets) – $30 per seat (plus order charge)

 

BTHO Auburn Watch Party – 11/4/17

We have scheduled a Fightin’ Texas Aggie Watch Party for the Auburn game at 12 NOON on Saturday November 4th at the Carolina Ale House (CAH) located at 9045 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN Carolina Ale House Knoxville.

When you get there, just tell them you are there for the Aggie watch party.

Please register below so we can give CAH an estimate of the number of Ags that will be attending.

East TN A&M Club Annual Christmas Party

Howdy Ags,

Our annual Christmas Party will be on Sunday December 3rd at 1PM.  As is tradition, our party will be at Abuelos Mexican Restaurant located at 11299 Parkside Dr., Knoxville, TN 37934 (located in Turkey Creek.)

As in years past we will have a gift exchange so if you would like to participate bring a nice gift of nominal value.

We are expecting more than the usual number of Ags at the party this year because of many new members.  The room capacity is 35.
