Football Watch Party Details & RSVP – East Tennessee A&M Club

November 23rd Texas A&M vs. Auburn

As probably our last watch party of the year, we will be having a watch party at Fieldhouse Social for the Texas A&M vs. Auburn game. Kickoff is at 7:30pm Eastern and does not conflict with the Tennessee game which is at 1pm. Come watch the game and check in with your Aggie friends on Saturday. It is perfectly ok if you only want to come for the first half and then head out.

The Club President will be handing out the Texas A&M vs Texas t-shirts at the watch party – free for Club members.

October 26th at 7:30pm Eastern: Texas A&M vs. LSU

The Aggies had a tough first half with the offense not able to get much traction and the score LSU 17 Texas A&M 7 at halftime. Coach Elko decided to put Marcel Reed in after the first Aggie interception of LSU’s QB Nussmeier and it was lights out with 31 points in the second half with the final score

We had a great turnout for such a late game with 15 people (as many as for the Mizzou game). Some only stayed to halftime for the food, fun and good times with other Aggie supporters. A collection of us along with two die hard LSU fans stuck it out to the end and closed the place. Here are some pics from the watch party.

October 19th Texas A&M vs. Miss State

No watch party for the October 19th Texas A&M versus Mississippi State game.

October 5th, 2024 vs. Missour-ee ..erm… Missour-ah..they can’t agree, either

Texas A&M had a blowout win over Mizzou at Kyle Field. We had 14 Aggies at the watch party at Fieldhouse Social in Knoxville. The Aggies were up 24 – 0 at halftime and kep rolling in the second half to a 41 – 10 victory. Fieldhouse Social was a great time and the service and food were both really good!

September 28th vs Arkansas

Our Aggies came out on top with a win in a tough game against Arkansas at AT&T Stadium in Arlington by a score of 21 – 17. It is likely the last game between the Aggies and the Piggies that will be played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington (the contract is over).

September 14 vs. Florida

Howdy Ags,

Hard to believe that football season will be starting soon.

Rosemary and I would like to invite you to a watch party at our house (Tellico Village) for the Florida game on Saturday, September 14. The game is scheduled to start at 3:30 PM EST, so you can start arriving at about 3 PM.

We will have smoked Bevo and pulled Razorback with all of the fixin’s including Danny Cunningham’s world-famous pinto beans. I have Landshark on tap (sorry no Shiner this year). We can accommodate 20 to 25 people. Please RSVP by Friday September 6^th.

Once we have the list of Ags who will be attending, I’ll send another note with a signup sheet for items to bring, such as side dishes, snacks, desserts, and drinks.

ESPN College GameDay Week 1 at Aggieland Announced

ESPN will be on campus in College Station for the Texas A&M vs. Notre Dame football game for the Aggies regular season and home opener on Saturday, August 31st. See ESPN announcement here (ESPN College GameDay Week 1 announcement). The Aug. 31 matchup, set for primetime at 7:30 pm, also marks Mike Elko’s first game as Texas A&M’s head coach. Elko was the defensive coordinator and safeties coach at Texas A&M from 2018 to 2021 before being hired by Duke, where he was 16-9 in two seasons.

2023 Football Watch Party Season

There will be no watch party for 2023 Aggie Football bowl game due to it being such a late game.

We had a GREAT watch party season for 2023. We had new faces, old faces, and some folks while they were even driving through the area join us at the many venues we patronized this season. We could not have done them all without the incredible dedication and hard work of our football watch party coordinator, Kelly Pesterfield. She not only arranged them all, but coordinated marketing and RSVP efforts, established relationships with restaurant management, and was a great liaison between the Club and the venues. Shoutout to Calhoun’s Bearden Hill, Double Dogs Bearden, Chili’s Bearden, and Carolina Ale House, Knoxville, for being gracious hosts.

October 14th, 2023 Tennessee Volunteers vs. Texas A&M Aggies

The Aggie Football team was in Knoxville, TN on October 14, 2023 to play the Tennessee Volunteers at Neyland Stadium. We had great events for this East Tennessee football game with Tennessee hosting the Aggies. See our Oct 14, 2023 website for info and pictures of that game and the surrounding events.
